Project Activities during COVID-19 Epidemic

With the COVID-19 pandemic, our social life and working life have experienced a process of adaptation until at least we have overcome this situation. We continue our activities under the scope of our project within the framework of measures taken for the health and safety of our project team and stakeholders.

In this process, the needs analysis of the training to be given in the field of renewable energy and energy efficiency has been completed. The training curriculums have been determined. The list of those attending the training has been clarified.

During the period of February – March 2020, Needs Assessments Reports have been prepared for site visits and site studies to be organized for renewable energy and energy efficiency investments of universities and municipalities.

Furthermore, the application portal for technical support for R&D projects developed by universities in the field of renewable energy and energy efficiency has started on 24 February 2020, the announcement for the support application was made through official channels, press and social media. Applications received through the portal were evaluated, and projects to receive support were announced on our website,,  on 5 June 2020.

A new calendar has been set for our activities postponed due to pandemic restrictions. According to this:

It is planned to:

  • Preliminary site visits starting in February to municipalities and universities to receive support are planned to continue in July.
  • The 8-week training program, scheduled between May 2020 and July 2020, is planned to start in September 2020.
  • Within the scope of technical support for R&D projects developed by universities, study visits to EU Members are planned to be held in 2021.
