The Opening Conference of the Technical Assistance of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency for Municipalities and Universities (YEVDES) was held on Monday, September 16, 2019 in Anadolu Hotel Downtown Ankara.
Energy and Natural Resources Deputy Minister, Abdullah Tancan hosted the event where Ambassador Christian Berger, Head of European Union Delegation to Turkey, Ambassador Başak Turkoğlu, Acting Director General of Relations with the European Union, Directorate for EU Affairs and Dr. Hakan Ertürk, Central Finance and Contracts Unit Head, Treasury and the Ministry of Finance honored the opening speeches.
Representatives of universities and municipalities representing 7 regions, as well as stakeholder public institutions and related NGOs attended the meeting. At the meeting where YEVDES Project was introduced, detailed information about the selection criteria of the projects to be provided technical consultancy services was shared and the questions of the participants were answered.
