Fifth Project Implementation Committee Meeting within the scope of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Technical Support Project (YEVDES) for Municipalities and Universities was held on 23 February. The representatives of YEVDES Project Technical Assistance Team, experts of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, representatives of the contractor consortium and consultants who will take part in solar, wind, hydroelectric, biogas and geothermal energy projects have attended the meeting which was held online due to current pandemic precautions. Renewable energy feasibility studies to be provided to municipalities and universities were discussed during the meeting. After the presentation on the support to be provided within the scope of the Second Component of the Project, topics such as the issues to be taken into consideration in the renewable energy feasibility studies to be carried out by the experts assigned within the scope of YEVDES in municipalities and universities, the compliance of the reports to EU standards, the work schedule of the experts were discussed. The meeting was completed after the question and answer session, in which technical details were discussed.80 different types of energy renewable energy feasibility study, which include 40 universities and 40 municipalities, technical specifications, market research and comparison tables are going to be prepared across Turkey within the scope of YEVDES Project.
